Path Finders Trip by Brendan Haviland

The Student Service Program went to a team-building camp at Path Finders. We were a group of 12 strangers when we arrived and a group of friends when we left. We started the day trying to learn each others’ names, then we moved on to some team exercises. These activities led up to the climax of the day: the ropes course. We each climbed up one of three sides of the course. It was pretty amazing to see this group of kids, who were strangers a few hours before, cheering each other on like life-long friends. It was a long day, but it really showed that with a little effort, you can meet and become friends with some really amazing people!
