Thirst Day of Community Service

On this adventurous and inspirational day we painted a dugout for the most popular sport in the Dominican Republic, baseball! Also, we took part in recreating and livening up a boys and girls club for the people of the community. It felt extremely fulfilling to be able to give these juan-der-ful people the commodities they deserve. It was definitely different from America in the sense that the people in the community willingly came out to help us without even being asked to. It was very nice to feel accepted and appreciated by everyone here! I feel so grateful for the opportunity at hand and I can’t wait for the other days to come. I loved seeing the kids smile as we hand out supplies and the everyone’s faces light up as they watched their useful assets come together! Baiguate!
